Children's Mental Health Week
Children’s Mental Health Week is taking place between 3 - 9 February 2025, with the theme Know Yourself, Grow Yourself, encouraging children to develop self-awareness as a foundation for resilience and personal growth.

Year 3 & 4 enjoyed their trip to Tatton Park
Year 3 & 4 had fabulous time stepping back in time at Tatton park on Wednesday learning about Anglo Saxon living.

Library Bus Visit
Daven children enjoyed a visit from the Library Bus. They picked a wonderful selection of books to read in school.


Year 5 & 6 visit the New Life Church
On Friday Year 5 & 6 went to New Life Church where they were running the LIFE exhibition.

Apple Collecting for The Old Saw Mill
Building links with the local community is important to Daven Primary School. At this time of year, our outdoor space becomes filled with apples that have fallen from the apple trees. To put them to good use, we donate them to The Old Saw Mill so they are able to make their delicious Congleton Apple Juice. Here is an image of (some of!) the apples we have collected so far.
