Children’s Mental Health Week has taken place this week, with the theme Know Yourself, Grow Yourself, encouraging children to develop self-awareness as a foundation for resilience and personal growth.

To support this, children have been bringing more movement into their classrooms – a powerful tool for mental wellbeing. Movement supports children to:

  • Build resilience through creative expression
  • Enhance self-awareness and emotional regulation
  • Develop social skills and positive interactions.

The children have had a great time taking part in the different activities while thinking about the benefits for their mental health.
